About First In Health, Inc.
First In Health has been providing medical and drug testing collection services in the Portland area to the trucking community for over 20 years. All of our doctors are on the FMCSA National Registry. We are a preferred collection site for many national and local drug test Consortia/Third-Party Administrators.
We understand the difficulties drivers have in accessing primary care. We have been providing medical services for truck drivers from across the country since we started in 2002. We do not bill insurance but price visits at a reasonable cost. Please contact us for further information.
Dr. Laurent Chaix, Co-Owner
Dr. Laurent Chaix has been practicing Naturopathic medicine at First In Health since 2002. He graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in 1995.
In addition to First In Health, Dr. Chaix is an attending clinical faculty supervisor at two community clinics in the Portland area that serve the uninsured and under-insured population. He has 20 years of clinical experience. He is also fluent in Spanish and French.
In his free time, Laurent can often be found traveling to Nicaragua to do volunteer work, France, and NYC visiting family or staying close to home, like going to the Oregon Coast with his two dogs or scuba diving, and attending local events.
Dr. Lisa DeCapua, Co-Owner
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Lisa DeCapua has been practicing Naturopathic medicine at First In Health since she graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in 2001.
Dr DeCapua was instrumental in the development and continued growth of First In Health, Inc. For the past 20 years, she has helped many patients around the country treat a variety of conditions, especially those with diabetes and hypertension.
When not practicing medicine, Lisa is a mother to two young girls and four adopted dogs. She enjoys biking, kayaking, gardening, and traveling with her family.
